The program includes six on-site immersive lab experiences during the first years, five on-site immersive labs during the second year, and two additional immersive labs during the final partial year. In addition to lab attendance, students should anticipate travel and living expenses related to the two required 12-week Level II Fieldwork placements and the 14-week Doctoral Capstone Experience, which may take place in locations outside of the Quincy area or their hometown. Students are encouraged to plan accordingly and budget for these essential components of their education.

Due to the hybrid nature of the Quincy University OTD program, students are required to have consistent access to a personal computer that meets the program’s technical specifications. All computer-related expenses, including the purchase, maintenance, and necessary software such as Microsoft Word are the responsibility of the student.

In addition, students must have reliable high-speed internet access to fully participate in online coursework, virtual class sessions, and program communications. Failure to maintain adequate technology or internet access may negatively impact academic performance and progression in the program. Students are encouraged to ensure that their technology setup supports the demands of a rigorous graduate-level hybrid curriculum.
