Quincy University’s National Panhellenic Conference
The Quincy University Panhellenic Association stands as a governing body of Alpha Omicron Pi and Phi Sigma Sigma. We strive for the growth of individual chapters and the fraternity system, encourage the highest possible academic, social, and moral standards. We also organize and sponsor membership recruitment, and most importantly, promote friendships, harmony, and unity among members and chapters of both sororities.

Color: Cardinal Red
Flower: Jacque Minot Rose

Badge: Gold monogram of Greek “Α”, “Ο”, and “Π” with a
ruby in the apex of the “A”.
Pledge Pin: Gold sheaf of wheat bearing Greek letters of the
Fraternity name.
Philanthropies: The Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation awards research
grants annually for the study of arthritis, juvenile
arthritis, and related diseases, and funding.
Phi Sigma Sigma

Founded: Hunter College, New York, NY, Nov. 26, 1913.
Color: King Blue & Gold
Flower: American Beauty Rose
Magazine: The Sphinx
Badge: Sphinx head with sapphire eyes bearing the ΦΣΣ
letters.

motto.
Philanthropies: Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation grants to the National
Kidney Foundation (NKF) in support of a
woman’s project or a woman researcher; Annual
Scholarships to undergraduate and graduate
students in a wide variety of fields including law,
medicine, and special educational projects fort he
Phi Sigma Sigma Fraternity; local undergraduate
and alumnae activities supporting community
philanthropies; national recognition through “Make
a Difference Day.” Through its Ruby Fund, the
foundation provides financial aid to members in
great need. The Diamond Jubilee Foundation
awards undergraduate and graduate study
scholarships. Collegiate and alumnae chapters
support activities of the local Arthritis Foundation
or Canadian Arthritis and Rheumatism Society.
Chapters also participate in a variety of local
charitable projects.

Mission:
To promote sisterhood, values, education, leadership, friendship, cooperation, citizenship and community service to the QU and Quincy community.
Programs & Projects:
Sponsor fall & spring recruitment, and nursing home visits, women's health education, and various activities throughout the year.
Panhellenic Mission: The Quincy University Panhellenic Association shall serve as the governing body of all sororities, focusing on developing and maintaining the highest standards of sisterhood and inter-sorority relations. The Quincy University Panhellenic Association shall promote the attainment of self actualization by all sorority members upholding the National Panhellenic Creed and standards of the Quincy University Greek Community.
Panhellenic Creed: We, as Undergraduate Members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities. We as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
