Throughout the year, the faith community gathers to recognize and celebrate God’s faithful presence, unconditional love, and involvement in our life and world through worship.

There are a variety of ways to enrich your spiritual life while at QU serving at Mass as a Eucharistic minister, musician, cantor, server, lector, or hospitality minister, prayer services, retreats, Bible Study, and Liturgy of the Hours prayer just to name a few.

Mass Times
Sunday- 10:00 am and 6:00 pm in the St. Francis Solanus Chapel (main QU chapel) during Fall and Spring Semesters

Monday-Friday 12:15 pm in the St. Francis Solanus Chapel (main QU chapel)

Holy Days- 12:15 pm in the Chapel (check the bulletin for special Mass times)

Sacrament of Reconciliation:
Weekdays after Daily Mass from 12:45-1:00, or by appointment Special times available during Advent and Lent; see the bulletin for more information

First Friday of the month. Begins after Daily Mass and ends with Benediction at 5:00.

Liturgical Ministries:
Sunday and weekday liturgies offer opportunities to gather in prayer and thanksgiving. The foundation of faith life at QU is the celebration of the Eucharist. If you are interested in assisting at Mass as a Eucharistic minister, lector, Altar Server, usher, or music minister contact Fr. Derran Combs, O.F.M. at combsde@quincy.edu. Please consider signing up for one of these ministries for the daily or Sunday liturgy.

Personal Prayer

The St. Francis Solanus Chapel (main QU chapel) is open from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm for personal prayer and meditation. Prayer materials (bibles, books, prayer cards, rosaries, reflections) are located in the back of the chapel for student use.
