Administrative Assistant/Graduate Credit Workshop Coordinator
The School of Education at Quincy University seeks qualified applicants for the part-time position of Administrative Assistant/Graduate Credit Workshop Coordinator. As Administrative Assistant, this individual provides overall support for the Office of the School of Education, especially its programs in teacher education, but also assists as needed with counselor education, sport management, exercise science, and sign language interpreter training. This individual will perform general office administrative duties, data and document collection and management, and provide support for School of Education meetings and events. As Graduate Credit Workshop Coordinator, this individual is responsible for managing the workshop web site, collecting workshop proposals, developing basic information materials for workshop seekers, and managing documents and data regarding graduate credit workshops. This is a part-time position with likely hours to be 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 Mon.-Thurs., 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00 Fri. There is some flexibility with the proposed work schedule. On rare occasions, other hours may apply for special events. High school diploma or GED and experience with Microsoft required; a college degree is preferred. Must be willing to learn other computer applications utilized within area of responsibility.
