Athletics Graduate Assistant – External Operations

Job Description
Quincy University invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant – External Operations. This position is a two-year appointment.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, assistance in the following duties: design and implementation of marketing plans for all athletic programs; marketing and processing of season ticket and booster club campaigns for football and basketball; stewardship and cultivation of corporate sponsors and private donors; coordination of community service, service learning, and community engagement projects; coordination of programs and services to promote student-athlete academic performance; all aspects of game and event operations; other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and staff.

Compensation
Compensation package includes tuition, fees, room, and board for a period of two years along with an annual stipend of $2,500.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Educational experience in a related field and the desire to pursue a career in intercollegiate athletics is preferred. Applicant should have experience working in athletics administration and/or participated as a collegiate student-athlete. Admission into a degree-seeking graduate program at Quincy University is required.

Other requirements: The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience with computers and basic software applications. The ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours are necessary. A valid driver’s license is required. The candidate will represent Quincy University in a manner consistent with the Franciscan mission of the University and abide by all NCAA, GLVC, and institutional policies.

Job Description
Quincy University invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant – Athletic Compliance. This position is a two-year appointment.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, assistance in the following duties: preparation of compliance-related educational materials; input and management of data into NCAA Compliance Assistant (CA) program; processing and approval of National Letters of Intent; coordination of programs and services to promote student-athlete academic performance; all aspects of game and event operations; monitoring of NCAA/GLVC/Quincy University legislation and regulations as part of a comprehensive compliance program; other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and staff.

Athletics Graduate Assistant – Athletic Trainer

Job Description
Quincy University is accepting resumes for the position of Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. These positions will be under the general supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer. Duties include providing effective evaluation and treatment for injuries, injury rehabilitation, daily athletic training room supervision, scheduling, team responsibility and frequent travel with assigned teams, referral for appropriate care, and record keeping. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and foster positive relations with prospective and enrolled student-athletes, coaches and athletic administration.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution; acceptance into the Graduate Program at Quincy University; successful completion of the NATA Board of Certification exam by August 2014; CPR and First Aid Certification; Illinois state licensure or eligible.
