Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Quincy University, a Franciscan institution, seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of mathematics position, beginning August 16, 2013.
Responsibilities:
Undergraduate courses for both majors and non-majors which may include College Algebra, Mathematical Logic, Numerical Analysis, Number Theory, and Abstract Algebra. Academic advising and university service are expected after the first year.
Minimum qualifications:
Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field. Desirable qualifications: College-level teaching experience; familiarity with the mathematics reform movement; interest in supporting mathematics secondary education. The successful candidate will have a commitment to the liberal arts tradition, an enthusiasm for teaching undergraduates, and an interest in fostering undergraduate research.

Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science
The Department of Political Science at Quincy University seeks applicants for a full-time, one-year Assistant Professor position in Political Science, beginning August 16, 2013. The position will be advertised as tenure-track in the fall. Quincy University is a Liberal Arts, Catholic University in the Franciscan tradition, with a strong emphasis on quality teaching and advising.
We are seeking candidates with an emphasis in American, theory, and methodology, who can teach courses such as: Early and Modern Political Theory, U.S. Government, the Presidency, Congress, as well as Statistics and Research Methodology, and other courses in their area of expertise.
Qualifications:
A doctorate in Political Science is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered. Teaching experience at the college level is required.

The School of Education at Quincy University, a Catholic liberal arts university in the Franciscan tradition, seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Education position, beginning August 16, 2013. The teaching load is four courses each semester.
Minimum Qualifications:
