DIRECTOR OF UNIVERSITY COMMUNICATIONS

Quincy University seeks qualified applicants for the Director of University Communications. This full-time position handles media relations, public relations, crisis communications, and the production of Quincy University print and electronic publications. The Director manages internal and external communication campaigns, University branding, and serves as the primary liaison between Quincy University and local, regional, and national media. The position’s mission is to protect and enhance the University’s image of excellence as a Franciscan and Catholic university.

Requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communication, journalism or related field is required; advanced degree preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with managerial experience and a minimum of five years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, media relations, publishing, or related field.

DEAN OF ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Quincy University, a Franciscan Catholic liberal arts university, invites applications for Dean of Academic Support. Responsibilities include: leading retention initiatives; supervising learning support services; managing the academic advising system; collecting and analyzing retention data; administering ADA compliance; directing international education; advising and assisting the Vice President of Academic Affairs. Full-time, 12-month position.

Requirements include:
Master’s degree in appropriate field and excellent communication skills required; Ph.D. or other terminal degree and experience in college teaching and academic administration preferred.
