Quincy University Establishes Local Chapter Of National Criminal Justice Honor Society

QUINCY, IL – The Pi Beta Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma has been successfully chartered at Quincy University with 11 members.  The first induction meeting and dinner was held on Monday April 25, 2016.   Alpha Phi Sigma is the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.  It recognizes academic excellence of criminal justice students while promoting community service, educational leadership and unity.  Alpha Phi Sigma enjoys wide acceptance and recognition by the federal law enforcement community, the Association of College Honor Society and the highly regarded Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Several QU faculty members are a part of this academy as well.

The local chapter is sponsored by Assistant Professor Harry Cramer and Assistant Professor Judy Abbott. Both Cramer and Abbott have extensive background in the local criminal justice field.
