Quincy University’s Gray Gallery (located in Brenner Library) will host an art exhibition by QU alumna and mixed media artist Amy Hesselbacher ’91. The exhibition will be on display from September 19th to October 14th, during the Outstanding Alumni Invitational Exhibition. A gallery reception will be held on Saturday, September 24th, from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. during QU Homecoming Weekend. Both the exhibition and the reception will be open to the public without charge.

Hesselbacher resides in Freeport, Ill., where she maintains an active studio and exhibits frequently in individual and group shows. She specializes in monotypes that she develops into mixed-media creations through application of pen or pencil sketching. Some works also involve full or partial cutting and weaving of the print.

Additional information about the alumni exhibition is available from Bob Mejer, gallery curator, at 228-5371.
