QUINCY, Ill. – Quincy University has appointed Tom Oliver as its new vice president for enrollment management. Oliver will begin duties on September 1st and will oversee all admissions, financial aid and student retention efforts. Oliver has served in various enrollment, admissions, and financial aid positions for almost 30 years with 13 of those years as a chief enrollment officer and vice president. He most recently served as the vice president for enrollment services at Texas Lutheran University.

“I am thrilled that we were able to attract someone with Tom’s skill set and ability to join our team,” said Phil Conover, acting president. “QU is at a turning point and Tom is the right leader to help us guide our enrollment efforts in these increasing challenging times in higher education.”

Oliver received a B.A. from Southwestern University and holds a Master of Liberal Arts from Texas Christian University. He has been heavily involved with national and regional admissions and financial aid professional associations. In 2010 he received the Founders’ Award for outstanding service and dedication to the admissions counseling profession from the Texas Association of College Admissions Counseling.
