Deirdre FaganDeirdre Fagan, DA, Quincy University Associate Professor of English, recently had her article "Creative Writing Creating Community: The Power of the Personal," included in the essay collection Beyond the Workshop: Creative Writing, Theory & Practice, edited by Paul Perry and published by
Kingston University Press, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surrey (UK). The journal's web site notes that the
article "explores the distinctive pedagogical methods, opportunities, and results offered by teaching memoir. It also analyses the ways in which these may be transferred to other creative, or even academic, writing courses." The course which inspired the article, Creative Writing: Memoir, will be taught again by Fagan in Spring 2013.
