GRAY GALLERY TO HOST WATERCOLOR EXHIBITION

The Gray Gallery of Quincy University will open the year with an exhibition of works by members of the Great River Watercolor Society.

The 22nd Annual GRWS Exhibition will run Jan. 10 – Feb. 2 during operating hours of the Brenner Library.

A gallery reception honoring the artists will be held 2 – 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan.15. Both the exhibition and the reception will be open to the general public without charge.

Members will show paintings created through the techniques they learned at the November workshop presented by Cynthia Kukla, professor of art at Illinois State University. The popular 2 X 2 inch miniatures will also be on display along with other new works by the artists.
