The QU Music Department will present “An Afternoon with Mozart” on Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m. in the Connie Niemann Center for Music. The concert is open to the public and free to attend.
Leonora Suppan-Gehrich, artist in residence at Quincy University and internationally acclaimed concert pianist, will be joined by her son, violinist Brian Gehrich. The duo will perform two sonatas: K. 304 in E Minor and K. 454 in B-flat Major as well as Adagio for Violin and Piano K. 261.
Ms. Gehrich joined the QU faculty in 1976. Throughout her distinguished career she has received numerous awards for her contributions as a performer, educator and supporter of the arts.
