Quincy University has renewed naming rights to Refreshment Services Pepsi for Pepsi Arena, home of the QU Men’s and Lady Hawks basketball and volleyball teams. As part of the multi-year deal, Refreshment Services Pepsi will receive exposure through television, radio, and online media. In addition, Refreshment Services Pepsi will be recognized in broadcast, outdoor advertising, print advertising and in-stadium signage.
"We are extremely pleased to continue our partnership with Pepsi. This arrangement will allow us to advance our athletic department and university with facility improvements and branding. It enables QU to provide a greater level of commitment to our students which will enhance their overall collegiate experience. We are proud to be associated with the Pepsi name,” Marty Bell, Quincy University Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach.
In addition to providing Quincy University Athletics with support for facility enhancements, allocated funds from the multi-year contract will benefit the Pepsi Cola Quincy Bottling Company Scholarship fund for Quincy University students.
“On behalf of Refreshment Services Pepsi we are thrilled to have been able to further our partnership with Quincy University. We believe that when you couple the 1,400+ students, faculty, athletic programs and loyal supporters of Quincy University with the direct economic impact they have on the Quincy community. Extending our partnership was a vital piece to the continued growth of the university, the local economy and the Pepsi family of brands. We look forward to being part of the Quincy University future for many years to come and being Partners in Education,” Chris Kirn, Refreshment Services Pepsi General Manager.
This agreement makes Pepsi the exclusive vendor for carbonated and non-carbonated drinks sold on campus.
