QU Faculty & Staff Collect Food for Catholic Charities

on .

Quincy University staff and faculty raised approximately 500 pounds of non-perishable food items during their December 13th Christmas party, organized and hosted by Quincy University’s Staff Council.  These items will be combined with the donations collected through QU Campus Ministry’s weeklong “Peanut Butter and Jolly” initiative which raised over 300 pounds of peanut butter.  All food items will be donated to Catholic Charities.  In addition, $480 was raised to benefit Quincy University’s “Career Closet” which lends professional attire to students for job interviews.  The “Career Closet” is run by Quincy University’s Career Services department.
