QU Students Win Communication Award

Comm Award 13Jennifer Wingerter '13 and Sam Nielsen '14Quincy University seniors, Jennifer Wingerter of Quincy and Samantha Nielsen of Arlington Heights, have been named the 2013 recipients of the Phyllis J. Dopp Award for excellence in communication. Both students are members of Lambda Pi Eta national communication honor society and are regularly named to the Dean's List.

The award, which carries a cash stipend, was established in honor of Phyllis J. Dopp of Chandler, Ariz., a 1980 graduate who taught for many years as a part-time member of the English and communication faculties.
