QU Art Professor Wins Two Awards at Illinois State Fair
Robert Lee Mejer-Vivace B WatercolorRobert Mejer, distinguished professor of art at Quincy University, received top honors at the 2012 Illinois State Fair Professional Art Exhibition. Mejer's "Variant: Vivace B" took first place in the watercolor category, and his "Papier Colle Monotype" received the second place award in the drawings and graphics category.Mejer's work, along with the other winning selections, are on display from August 10-19, at the Artisan's Building in the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois
