Katie Awerkamp is the assistant coach with the Quincy University women's soccer team. Awerkamp previously worked as the the head goalkeeper trainer for the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association and for Zionsville High School in 2007-08.
Awerkamp, a native of Quincy, Ill., was a 2007 graduate of Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. While at Saint Joseph's, Awerkamp set the school record for saves in 2006 with 17 against Missouri-St. Louis. She also finished her collegiate career with 297 saves.
Awerkamp was a 2003 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Science and Education at Quincy University.
