Tom Oliver, M.L.A.

Tom began working at QU in 2017 as the vice president of enrollment management. He received a B.A. from Southwestern University (TX) and holds a Master of Liberal Arts from Texas Christian University.  Tom has served as the chief enrollment officer for two other liberal arts institutions.

Tom has served in various enrollment, admission, and financial positions at private, faith-based institutions with seventeen years as a chief enrollment officer and vice president.  For more than thirty years, Tom has been heavily involved with national and regional admissions and financial aid professional associations.  For much of his career, service to the larger profession has been an important part of his professional development.  Within the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling, he has chaired committees, planned annual conferences and served as president.

In 2010 Tom received the TACAC Founders’ Award for outstanding service and dedication to the admission counseling profession.  He has also served on the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s Presidents’ Council and as a delegate to the governing assembly.
