Job Description:    Building and reparing PCs, providing technical support for computer applications used at QU (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook , utilize virus removal tools, assist with website content)
Skills Required:    General knowledge of computer hardware and operating system(s); CSC or CIS major preferred; responsible, trustworthy, punctual, independent worker, ability to meet deadlines, and good interpersonal skills

Position:    Help Desk Support
Supervisor:    Tony Hayes
Room:    FRH 134
Hours:    5-10 Hours per week
Job Description:     Are you comfortable with computers? The help desk support person’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that students, faculty, and staff can accomplish business tasks.  This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests.  The job may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Candidate will also be responsible for refilling paper in printers and perfoming maintenance tasks assigned by the Network Administrator. Candidates must have a general understanding of Windows and be willing and able to learn appropriate software and hardware used by QU. Computer major NOT required. Hours are available between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. This job is a great resume builder.

Football
Position:    Apparel Merchandising and Alumni Relations
Supervisor:    Tom Pajic
Room:    North Campus Football Office and Flinn Stadium
Hours:    13-15 hours per week
Job Description:     Promote, market, and sell football apparel to alumni, families and friends of QU Football.  Student employee needs to be organized, personable, highly motivated and professional.  Needs to have data processing skills, phone skills, customer service skills and the ability to build a database of apparel customers.  Must have the availability to work six Saturday home games and work in the office 2-3 days per week. Must also contact alumni by phone to promote events and update their information.

Position:    Video Filmer and Assistant Equipment Manager    
Supervisor:    Tom Pajic
Room:    Padua and Friars
Hours:    13-15 hours per week
Job Description:    Student worker will be responsible for filming practice and home games, may have the ability to travel with the team on away games.  Student worker will be heavily involved in working with equipment and laundry.

Physical Plant
Position:    Housekeeping Assistant
Supervisor:    Monica Steffen

Hours:    20 hours per week
Job Description:    Perform custodial work for all campus buildings including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning carpets, polishing, dusting, cleaning windows, and other duties
Purpose:    To assist the housekeeping department in providing custodial work and general care for all campus buildings

Position:    Maintenance Assistant
Supervisor:    Rob Goebel

Hours:    20 hours per week
Job Description:    The maintenance assistant will assist the maintenance staff with building maintenance, painting, woodwork, and other related tasks, and will assist in other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:    Basic maintenance skills and a familiarity with tools
