Business Office

Meet the staff

The Business Office cashes checks (up to $50/day), issues student bills, paychecks, refund checks, and collects payments of outstanding bills. Student ID cards are required for all paychecks, personal checks, refunds, and withdrawals. All requests for refund checks must be submitted to the Business Office by Wednesday morning of each week. The checks will be ready for pick-up by 10:30 am Friday morning.

Any fines, charges or statements for damages must be paid as soon as presented to the student. Students who have outstanding charges for overdue books, parking fines, other fines, damages, or any other financial obligations will not be permitted to register for the following semester until all debts have been paid. Transcripts will not be mailed for students who have unpaid and outstanding debts.

Payment Options

Quincy University offers convenient plans for payment of student accounts.

  • Payment in Full – Students may send their check or money order payment by mail to the address on the billing statement or they can make their payment in person at the Business Office, Room B-33, Francis Hall from 8am to 5pm, Monday – Thursday and 8am to 4:30pm on Friday.  Students may also pay online with a credit card or ACH withdrawal by viewing their student account at moodle.quincy.edu and using the TMS link to make their payment.

  • Monthly Payment Option – To assist with payment of tuition, Quincy University has partnered with Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to coordinate a monthly payment system.

If you plan to use your savings and/or income to cover all or part of your education expenses not covered by financial aid, the Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option is the best way to pay. Why make large semester payments when you can spread your education expenses over 10 or 8 interest-free monthly payments? Simply use the Budget & Estimating Cost Sheet (found at www.afford.com/quincy) to determine your total payment plan amount and your monthly payment.  Then enroll today on the web, by mailing the completed enrollment form, or by calling 1-800-356-8329.

Your $60 enrollment fee includes toll-free education payment counseling and access to account information 24-hours a day at www.afford.com/quincy or through the toll-free Info Line.

Take advantage of TMS’s Automatic Payment Option to avoid check writing, postage costs and the possibility of late payment penalties due to mailing delays. This automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account costs nothing extra. Please have your account information available when enrolling in this option over the phone. Monthly payments can also be paid by check or money order, or by credit card for a convenience fee.

Perkins Loans – Dept of Education

Perkins Loans are awarded through the Financial Aid Office and applied directly to current students accounts. After completing your education at Quincy University, all students with Perkins Loans are required to complete an exit interview at the Dept. of Education website at http://mapping-your-future.org/student. The Quincy University Business Office has outsourced the billing and repayment of these loans for non-current students to University Accounting Service (UAS).  Please review their website at www.uaservice.com for information regarding deferment forms, loan consolidations, cancellations and financial arrangements. UAS also distributes 1098E tax forms.
