April '08 Street Retreat
Brother Ed Arambasich, OFM, and Quincy University students participated in a “Street Retreat” on April 26. The goal of the street retreat is to step into someone else’s shoes for 24 hours as everyday people are “homeless” for a day. The unique event took Br. Ed and the students on a 15-mile trek from Quincy to Fall Creek in an overnight journey. They were only allowed the bare essentials: backpack, hooded sweatshirt, sleeping bag, water and a few snacks, and slept overnight in a barn. View Photos
