Campus Ministry
A praying community, we respond to the Gospel call to conversion so that we may more perfectly live in the likeness of Christ. The prayer life of the University includes both communal prayer, especially the celebration of the Eucharist, and the promotion of various forms of personal prayer that sustain an individual's relationship with God.

Celebration of the Eucharist
Sunday and weekday liturgies offer opportunities to gather in prayer and thanksgiving. The foundation of faith life at QU is the daily and Sunday celebration of the Eucharist. To help make liturgy a true celebration, students serve as Ministers of the Eucharist, Word, Altar, Hospitality, and Music (vocal and instrumental). Please consider signing up for one of these ministries for the daily or Sunday liturgy. Call Stacy Hankins at 228-5432, ext. 3615 to be scheduled for any of these ministries.
Liturgy Schedule:
Sunday 9:00pm in the QU Chapel (Fall and Spring Semesters)
Monday-Friday 5:00pm in the Friar's Chapel (adjacent to QU Chapel)
Holy Days 12:30pm & 5pm in the QU Chapel
Special Mass Times (Alumni Weekend/Parent's Weekends, etc.) are updated as events occur.
Ecumenical Prayer Services
Understanding that members of our QU community are not of the Roman Catholic tradition, opportunities for all to come together to worship and share prayer will be offered. Guided by the Franciscan tradition we also strive to celebrate special feast days that are part of our heritage. Check the Campus Minsitry Calendar and the Seraph for details.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Students who want to experience the Church's prayer for inner healing are invited to celebrate the Sacrament at scheduled times in the chapel, contacting an individual friar-priest or by participating in the Communal Reconciliation Services offered during Advent and Lent. Other Opportunities for Common Prayer
Both in small and large groups, opportunities are provided prayer with others in formal and more relaxed settings.

The University Chapel
The University Chapel is open from 7:00am until 11:00pm for personal prayer and meditation. Prayer materials (bibles, books, prayer cards, rosaries, reflections) are located in the back of the chapel for student use.
