Intramurals: The Gauntlet

The Quincy University Gauntlet is one of the most highly anticpated events of the year and is a great way to test yourself in a variety of events including Tug-of-War, Boat Races, Dodgeball, Human Bowling, The Pyramid, Ankle Fights, Water Balloon Wars, and so much more! The Gauntlet is a 6 person team event (3 male, 3 female) and includes the biggest prize pool of any Intramural event. Prizes in the past have included a big screen TV, Xbox 360, Laptop Compters, Ipods, DVD players, restraunt gift certificates, and more! The best part is that not only does the winning team receive great prizes, everyone who participates is automatically entered in a drawing for many of the other great prizes listed above so if you don't win the overall event you still have a chance to walk away with a great prize. The Gauntlet is limited to the first 24 teams and fills up quickly so look for sign up sheets early first semester and sign up quickly! To learn more about the program and become involved, contact Mike Davis, Director of the Health and Fitness Center and Coordinator of Intramural and Recreational Activities, phone 228-5244, Health and Fitness Center.
