To our new resident students:
The Residence Life staff and I are excited to welcome you to another great year at Quincy University. We have been planning for the 2007-08 academic year since spring of 2007. It is our hope that each of you finds in Quincy University Residence Life a place you can call home. We will do our best to offer a range of activities and events for you to become familiar with your new surroundings and most importantly to meet your new neighbors and have fun!!
The Residence Life staff and I would like to encourage you to get involved!! Live in your hall, not just your room. Come to the activities offered and meet those you share your home with. We guarantee if you step out and try new things you will find your “niche.” If you try something and it’s not for you, don’t give up. Seek out your place and you will be blessed.
Our motto for Residence Life is “Welcome Home.” We are proud to call Quincy University our Home and look forward to sharing our home with you. It is our hope that you too will soon call our community your Home. Our staff will do our best to know you by name and hope you call on us when you have any questions or just want to say hi. We look forward to seeing all the new faces that will be joining our family.
We on Residence Life are encouraged by a verse found in Jeremiah 29:11 and we would like to share it with you. “For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans not to harm you, plans to prosper you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” We believe that God has a good plan in bringing you to Quincy University and we look forward to the hope He has for us to share together during the 07-08 academic year. We are excited for the plans God has in store for you, for us.
