Padua Hall
Hi, my name is Pat Reidy and I will be your Padua Hall Residence Director for the 2007-08 academic year. I'm in my fourth year at Quincy University and I'm excited to be spending it in Padua Hall with the men and the new class of 2011. I'm excited to get to know all of you and I hope my R.A. staff and I can help you with all the changes you are about to encounter. To tell you a little about myself, I'm a student-athlete playing Men's Volleyball and double-majoring in Math and Computer Science. One of my missions this year is to help the men of Padua make the most of their time at Q.U. There is a lot to do on campus and what I enjoy most are the fall soccer games and the various SPB (Student Programming Board) events hosted by the school throughout the year. Quincy is an awesome place to be as long as you're willing to open your eyes and mind to it. Padua Hall is going to be a great place to live this year as my staff and I plan to bring all of the residents fun and dynamic events. I look forward to seeing you on move-in day and I hope all of you are as excited as I am!
Hey Guys, My name is Patrick Moore and I am your RA for Padua 1st floor. I am a sophomore majoring in Marketing. I am a member of the QU men’s Golf team and a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. I am a St. Louis Cardinals fan and love all sports. If you have any questions or if you just want to talk stop by my room, I look forward to getting to meet all of you.
Hi, my name is Darren Gafford but most of the campus calls me “Chi”. I am a senior criminal justice major. I have been involved on campus by being a member of the QU football team and last year I was a member of our Student Judicial Board. I love the Miami Heat and the Boston Red Sox. I am thrilled to be your Resident Assistant because I am like the big brother you never had!! I will strive to developing a relationship with each of my residents and hope you know my door is open. One thing I can guarantee to the Men of Padua is you will never be bored with the year the Residence Life Sstaff has planned for you. We had a great community last year and look forward to a even stronger bond of brothers this coming year.
Hi, my name is Brian Silverstein. I am a junior majoring in Journalism. I play on the QU men’s tennis team, work at our radio station (WQUB), and also am a member of our student newspaper staff (The Falcon). This is my second year as a member of the Padua Hall staff. We are going to have a great year!! Oh yeah, I am a HUGE CUBS FAN!!! Holler, Brian.
Hello fellow Padua Hall residents. My name is Michael Berndt, but you can call me Mike. I am a sophomore here at QU and am majoring in Finance. I am pretty busy and involved on campus but promise to always have time for the residents of Padua Hall. I encourage you to get involved as it makes the college experience what it’s meant to be. Intramurals is a great time and fun way to meet people. If you’re not into sports there are several clubs and activities going on everyday. If you have any questions or need anything knock on 216 and I will do what I can to help. It’s a great day to be a HAWK!!!!
Centennial Hall
Hi, I'm Brandon Gervais and I'll hold the position of Residence Director in Centennial Hall for the 2007-08 school year. This will be my second year on the Residence Life Staff and we are all looking forward to getting to know the diverse group of new students on campus. I'll be working towards my MBA this year, since obtaining accounting and finance degrees for the last four years just wasn't enough time for me at QU. I'll also be helping run the intramural program around campus, so find me when you're ready to get out and meet some new people to have a good time with. Have a great summer and be sure to come ready to have fun next school year. Take it easy.
Hi, my name is Jacquez Chillis and I will be a super senior this year. I am from Chicago, Illinois and am majoring in Biology and Education. This is my first year as being a RA. You will find me on 1st West Centennial. I am involved in a lot of activities and clubs from Student Senate to MSA (Minority Student Association). I am looking forward to meeting each of you and seeing what the upcoming year has in store. GO CUBS !!
Hi everyone, my name is Sara Harman. I am a senior and this will be my second year as an RA. I will be on 2nd West Centennial. I am from Quincy and love it here. I will be trying my best to make your experience at QU unforgettable. My favorite things are baseball (GO CARDS!!), NFL football, the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Myself and the entire residence life staff are expecting the best and hope you are as excited as we are for another great year at QU. GO HAWKS!!
Hi my name is Larry Patterson, also known as L.P. I am a senior majoring in Physical Education. This is my second year at QU. I transferred from a junior college in San Diego, CA. I am originally from Las Vegas, NV, and I play football for the QU Hawks. I am easy to talk to and always open for any sport debate. My door is open to talk whenever you may feel the need. A little more about me, I am a die hard Bulls Fan, New York Giants fan, and San Francisco Giants fan. I love Michael Jordan and currently Carmelo Anthony is my favorite basketball player. So, there is a little information to let the debates begin!! I will do my best to make this upcoming year the best for the men of Centennial and our campus.
Friars Hall
As the present RD of Friars Hall let me introduce myself. (Ugh hmmm) My name is Dema Sabbara, a unique name I know, compliments of my father. When asked where I'm from I do say Chicago, but in all actuality I live in suburbia. I live on the border of Skokie and Evanston which is about 15 minutes north of city limits. In about a second's time, I managed to blink, and somehow jumped from my freshman to my senior year of college. I am working towards my degree in Biological Sciences for secondary education. Now, I finally understand what my parents meant when they said enjoy your youth because time flies. I vote someone should cut time's wings because these years at QU have been some of my best, and they are going by way too fast. I am very involved on campus doing both intramurals and attending SPB events. You'll also see me at a lot of Quincy University's home games cheering on our QU athletes and singing in QU's Voices of Praise. Yes, I admit I have my dorky moments, but overall I'm a pretty fun, real, and open person. Don't be afraid to ask me questions because almost everyone on campus knows that I'm the queen of asking them myself. I am really excited for this upcoming year and can't wait to see where it takes us!
My name is Peter Coley, and I am from Evanston, Illinois. This is my third year at QU. I am majoring in social work and I play for the QU men’s volleyball team. I really love playing sports and I enjoy deep thinking and good conversation. I am a person that likes to take on life’s challenges head on. I will do my best in challenging you also as a person and as a friend. I hope to learn a lot from you and will do my best to teach you about our community and home. I know just about everything there is when it comes to cars, so if you love cars we already have something to talk about. I am looking forward to the upcoming year and hope to meet you all soon. You can find me on 4th floor Friars. Feel free to stop in if you have any questions or just to chat. Go Bears!!
Garner Hall
Hi! My name is Jenna Napolillo and I am going to be the Residence Director for Garner Hall. This upcoming year will be my third on the Residence Life Staff and it is going to be the best year yet! I am majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. I really enjoy Quincy University because you really get a chance to know everyone and make lasting friendships. I am currently the President of my sorority (AOII), and on the A-Team for the Mock Trial team. I lived in Garner my freshman year and can personally attest to the community that is in this building. I met most of my current best friends while living in the hall! I am really looking forward to this upcoming year and getting to know you all. The staff has so many exciting events planned to help you get adjusted to college life as well as getting to know others in the building. I hope you are all looking forward to this upcoming year as much as I am!

I am proud to say we had an awesome season last year and finished 16-5 in the first round of nationals. This year, I am excited for an even better season for our women’s soccer; however I am even more excited to be a RA on third floor Garner. I can’t wait to see all of the new faces around our campus. The experiences I have had so far and the people I have met at QU have truly helped me become the person I am today. I hope to share those experiences with you.
