Master of Business Administration

Applications for admission to the Quincy University MBA program are accepted on a revolving basis, making it possible to begin at the start of any session. Applying to the MBA program involves five steps:

  • Complete a Quincy University Graduate Studies application.

  • Provide official transcripts from any college/university in which undergraduate credit was earned including the transcript which verifies conference of a baccalaureate degree. Students who have attended school overseas may be required to submit an analysis of their transcripts by the Office of International Educational Services. A TOEFL score of 550 minimum is required.

  • A 300-500 word autobiographical statement outlining academic/work experience as well as career goals.

  • Provide two letters of recommendation.

  • Submit a $25, non-refundable application fee.

  • Submission of official GMAT score.

Master of Science in Education

Applicants must submit the following to the Quincy University Office of Adult Studies:

  • Application - A completed Application for Graduate Admission along with the nonrefundable $25 application fee.
  • Official Transcripts.
  • Recommendations - Two completed recommendation forms from individuals who can address academic and/or professional potential.
  • Educational Requirements - Applicants must have or will have completed a baccalaureate degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants with GPA’s lower than 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission.
  • Written Autobiographical Essay - A 300-500 word written essay by the applicant detailing how his/her work and life experiences demonstrate his/her understanding and beliefs related to servant leadership.
  • Professional Resume.
  • Additional Criteria - Based on the selected area of concentration, additional admission requirements may be necessary for program acceptance.

Master of Science in School or Community Counseling (MSE)

Applications are encouraged from individuals who plan to provide counseling services either in a school setting or in a community, private or government setting. All applicants are considered on an individual basis focusing on the applicant’s potential for successful completion of the program. Application review for admission is ongoing.

Applicants must submit the following to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

  • Completed Graduate Admission Application with $25 application fee

  • Official transcripts sent from all colleges and universities attended

  • Millers Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores sent to QU Admissions

  • Two letters of professional recommendation (academic and/or professional)

  • A 300-500 word essay describing the applicant’s motivation for entering the counseling field

  • Professional resume

 

Master of Theological Studies

Applications are encouraged from individuals who are looking to enter church work as well as those already in church or school employment who are looking to advance and deepen their knowledge of church in areas of scripture, sacraments, history, spirituality, etc. All applicants are considered on an individual basis focusing on the applicant’s potential for successful completion of the program.

Application for admissions is ongoing. Once an applicant’s file is complete, it will be reviewed by the Director of the Master of Theological Studies Program and the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Applicants must submit the following to the Office of Graduate Studies:

  • Completed graduate admission application with $25 application fee and official transcripts from all universities attended.
  • Applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree. A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred. Applicants with GPAs lower than 3.0 may be considered for conditional acceptance.
  • A 500-word written autobiographical sketch that includes a history of the applicant’s religious and academic development and a resume of previous experience in ministry or other professional work, an assessment of the applicant’s strengths and weaknesses in studying theology at the graduate level and professional or ministerial goals.
  • Professional Resume.
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation from persons qualified to evaluate applicant’s personal, academic, and professional qualifications.
