Professional Degree Programs Accelerated Undergraduate
Criminal Justice
This program is designed to educate the adult learner in the knowledge, skills, and values needed for work in the criminal justice system, whether as police officers, correctional officers, or employees of the court.
Human Service
The Human Services major is intended for those students wanting a career in the social services or counseling fields. It equips students with the knowledge and skills to function effectively in a wide range of social service organizations and advocacy roles. Human Services graduates are currently working in the area of abused and neglected children, the elderly, childcare, mental health, substance abuse, and juvenile justice.
Business Administration
The goal of the School of Business is to deliver an educational experience which, while academically challenging, also prepares the student for a successful career in the practical world of business.
Elementary Education
The Elementary Education curriculum is designed to graduate students with teaching certification in the State of Illinois in addition to a bachelor’s degree. As a result, students in elementary education must do student teaching during the day for the final semester of degree work. Elementary education graduates of the Profesional Degree Programs are currently teaching in many schools throughout the state.
