Forensic Science
The Forensic Science Minor is a challenging multidisciplinary minor in science designed to familiarize students with the sciences that are commonly applied to legal questions and issues. These include such issues as the determination of guilt or innocence in criminal cases and the determination of culpability in civil cases. Course content includes, Criminalistics and Forensics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
As a Forensic Science Minor, you will study current forensic technologies pertaining to the examination of questioned documents, fingerprint techniques, polygraph examinations, ballistics, pathology, toxicology, and other chemical/laboratory testing. The evidentiary value of various technologies will also be explored.
