Sign Language Interpreter Program
The Sign Language Interpreter Program prepares students for the National Interpreting Certification which leads to work as professional interpreters. The Interpreting and Sign Language Lab is available for individual students use as well as teacher-directed activities. Both help increase receptive and expressive skills so students become proficient more quickly. The Lab also provides feedback on interpreting and instantaneous voicing. Close relationships with faculty who are experts in their field provide exposure to a variety of interpreting and signing experiences critical for development.
