INTERNSHIPS
The School of Business regards practical experience in the workplace as a valuable part of the learning process. All of the School’s undergraduate degree programs offer internships to students in good standing. Students participating have the opportunity to earn 1-3 semester hours of credit for work experience allied to their academic program.
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR STUDENTS The School of Business hosts three student organizations all of which have been recognized regionally and nationally for their outstanding contributions to the school and the community.
- Collegiate Entrepreneurial Organization (CEO) – Student organization involved in promoting entrepreneurship.
- Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) – Student organization affiliated with the national IMA promoting the interests of accounting and finance professionals.
- Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) – Student organization promoting free enterprise practices through community involvement.
