The role of a manager varies from business to business. However, there are certain skills and functions required of all good managers. The Management degree from Quincy University prepares students for positions in profit and not-for-profit businesses where the ability to make effective management decisions is essential. The program encompasses areas including operations management, leadership, human resource management, and small business management. Students pursuing a marketing degree have the opportunity to take part in three regionally and nationally-recognized student organizations; Collegiate Entrepreneurial Organization (CEO), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
