Origin, nature and growth of law and the role
that law plays in modern business. Contacts,
sales, personal property, real property and tort
liability; wills, insurance and landlord/tenant.
BUS 219 - Personal Finance
Credit Hours: 3
An introduction to both personal financial planning
and computer software. Financial topics
include: careers, budgeting, insurance, credit,
and investments. Microsoft Office products (Excel,
Word, and Power Point) are applied to these
areas to aid in managing information and to
provide information to the decision-making
process.
BUS 316 - Advanced Business Law
Credit Hours: 3
Policy and rationale of the law of negotiable
instruments, agency, partnership, corporations,
accountant’s liability, employment laws, federal
securities regulation and bankruptcy.
