Social Work
The Social Work Program offers a BS degree. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for beginning generalist social work practice and preparation for graduate studies in social work. This program is a cross-discipline degree that includes courses in Biology, Psychology, and Sociology.
Eight credit hours of field experience are required. Students have participated in field experience in hospitals, social service agencies, the educational system, and the judicial and correctional systems. Students have also gone on to pursue graduate studies in Social work and related fields.
