Program Requirements
Criminal Justice (Accelerated)
All of the academic programs in the Professional
Degree Program require students to complete:
- the University's General Education requirements or an applicable
Associates degree program;
- 124 semester hours of approved
academic coursework, including
- 6 semester hours of
Theology or Religious Studies; and
- applicable
degree requirements specified in the curriculum of the
respective discipline.
Students enrolled in this PDP program will be expected
to follow a degree plan that incorporates approved
300-and 400-level courses from the following academic
programs:
Criminal Justice (CRJ)
Social Work (SWK)
Human Services (THS)
Psychology (PSY)
Courses from other programs may be used in degree plans providing pre-approval
is provided by the Director of Adult Studies. Forty-eight credit hours of
approved coursework in the aforementioned programs are required, in addition
to 12 hours of electives.
