You often need letters of recommendation when you apply for graduate and professional schools, internships, fellowships, or jobs. You may establish a file of letters of recommendation which will be permanently stored by Career Services
A credential file is a permanent record of information in a central location for use in applying to graduate/professional school or securing employment. Letters of recommendation, a resume, co-operating teacher evaluations, certifications, and an unofficial transcript provide a solid overview of who you are and what you have done in college. Upon your request, it is sent to prospective employers and graduate schools. Guidelines and forms for setting up a credential file are available in the Career Services Center.
Credentials requests are filled within 3 working days. A small fee will be charged after 10 files have been sent. Remember to plan ahead and submit your requests well in advance of deadlines!

On-Campus Recruiting
Each year the Career Services Center hosts numerous employers and graduate schools interested in recruiting Quincy University students. Many companies hold formal interview sessions, while others meet with students informally in the Cafeteria or Hawks Hangout. You will be notified of these events via email and flyers posted around campus.
