QUEST: Quincy University's Early STart Program
QUEST (Quincy University’s Early STart program) is an intensive, eight-day summer experience designed to introduce incoming students to University life. Students will take a single course chosen for high interest and suitability for this compressed format, and they will be able to earn three QU credits for this course before other students have even arrived on campus. Because the course is compressed, students will receive a full range of tutorial services and academic support from the Learning Resource Center. They will also participate in workshops designed to promote the knowledge and skills essential for success during the critical first semester at the University, using our newest computer labs and learning support materials. In addition to coursework, a range of planned and casual leisure activities will be available. Students will live in QU residence halls and enjoy a variety of dining options. They will have the opportunity to get to know one another and will meet a number of current QU students who will have roles in the QUEST program.
