Quincy, Illinois, sits on limestone bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River in West Central Illinois, and is located 120 miles from St. Louis and 300 miles from Chicago. The county seat of Adams County, Quincy is a city of 45,000 containing a variety of industries. Quincy serves the shopping and business needs for a wide area and provides excellent medical facilities, social services, recreational activities and cultural outlets.
